The Swedish lyric Mezzo-Soprano, Ulrika Str\u00f6mstedt was between 2002 and 2013 engaged as Mezzosoprano soloist at Deutsches National Theater<\/i> in Weimar, Germany, she performed in more then\u00a030 different opera-productions,\u00a0guest appearances followed at: Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Staatstheater Darmstadt<\/em>, the S\u00fcdth\u00fcringische Staatstheater<\/i> in Meiningen, Theater Erfurt<\/i> (Germany), Municipal de L\u2019escoxador<\/i> in Lleida, Spain and Luzerner Theater<\/em> in Switzerland.<\/p>\n Ulrika Str\u00f6mstedt studied in Copenhagen (Denmark), at the Musikkonservatoriet<\/i> (Royal Danish Academy of Music); Operaakademiet (Royal Opera Academy), with Prof. Kirsten Buhl M\u00f8ller and took Masterclasses with Anthony Rolfe-Johnson and Diane Montague. Proffessional experiences accompanied her studies. She sung bigger roles\u00a0at Det Kongelige Theater<\/i> (the Royal Theatre) and Tivoli-Plaenen<\/i> in Copenhagen (Denmark) and at Theatre\u00a0Vadstena Akademien<\/i>, (Sweden).<\/i><\/p>\n Amongst the more than thirty roles she has performed, the most prominent are:<\/p>\n B\u00e9atrice<\/b> B\u00e9atrice et B\u00e9n\u00e9dict<\/i> \/ Berlioz Appearing often in contemporary works, Ulrika Str\u00f6mstedt has sung the Soprano<\/b> in Luigi Nonos La fabbrica illuminata, <\/i>\u201dDer Junge<\/b>\u201d in the chamber opera Pnima<\/i> by Chaya Czernowin, as well as The Triumph of death\u00a0by<\/em>\u00a0F. Rzewski\u00a0in\u00a0Deutsches Nationaltheater Weimar, which both won great acclaim in the national media (G\u00f6tz- Friedrich award 2016) <\/i>. Of particular note was her appearance as Alice and k\u2019Ali<\/b> in the contemporary Opera Nuit des Hommes <\/i>by Per N\u00f6rgard in Gera\/<\/em>Altenburg Theatre,<\/i> Germany,<\/i> .
